Terms and Conditions
Deposit of 50% of the full purchase price is required to place an order. The price quoted is FOB Country of Origin, plus the shipping cost. Rug(s) are hand-made and customized to the specifications for each order. The final payment, plus shipping costs, is due and payable to The Meinecke Collection before shipment of the rug(s).
WARRANTY
1) The Meinecke Collection, Inc. warrants that all rugs will conform to applicable specifications as conditioned herein and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Pile crushing, shading, pilling, fuzing and soiling are not materials or workmanship defects and will not be considered for claims. This warranty is given expressly and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranty of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose and constitutes the only warranty made by The Meinecke Collection, Inc. 2) The Meinecke Collection, Inc. is not liable for any delay or failure to deliver or perform due to strikes, lockouts or other labor difficulties, accidents, transportation delays, floods, fires, war, act of terrorism, acts or demands of Government, acts of God or any other causes or events of like or unlike nature beyond the control of the Meinecke Collection, Inc. Delivery dates shall be extended, without liability to The Meinecke Collection, Inc., for the duration of such events. All claims, including defects in materials and workmanship, shortages and errors, must be made in writing to The Meinecke Collection, Inc., within ten (10) days after receipt of merchandise. Customer should carefully inspect all items at the time of delivery and note any obvious damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing. Failure to make any such claim within such ten (10) day period shall constitute acceptance of merchandise and waiver of any such defects, shortages, errors or other claims. 3) The Meinecke Collection, Inc., shall in no event be liable for direct, indirect, punitive, consequential, special, incidental or similar damages. In no event shall the liability of The Meinecke Collection, Inc. exceed the amount paid for the product. 4) The process of hand manufacturing may result in slight variations in the rugs, including but not limited to slight variations in dye lots and dimensions. Acceptable dimensional tolerance is +/- one inch in length, and +/- one inch in width on tufted rugs and +/- one inch in length, and +/- one to three inches in width on hand knotted rugs.
